The Managing Director & Group CEO of Bhumika Group, Uddhav Poddar hails from Poddar family which has business interests in Construction, Manufacturing, Entertainment and Logistics for over 58 years. He identified a large opportunity to develop world-class projects in the Tier 2 towns of India, which was ignored by the then top rung developers. Bhumika Group, has established two businesses i.e. Real Estate Development through Bhumika Realty Pvt. Ltd. (BRPL), and Logistics Business through Kaushalya Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (KLPL). BRPL, through its subsidiary M/s Bhumika Enterprises Pvt. Ltd (BEPL) is developing one India’s largest Retail & Hospitality Centric Mixed-Use Projects in Udaipur, Rajasthan by the name of “Urban Square” with a total Built-up area of 2 million square feet; this project has won multiple awards. BRPL is also developing a Shopping Mall in Alwar, Rajasthan and now plans similar projects in other locations such as Jaipur, Jodhpur & Delhi NCR.

Poddar dons several hats including the President (Year 19-20) of Entrepreneurs Organisation(EO) for The Jaipur Chapter, incoming Area Director for Entrepreneurs Organisation(EO) for Entire South Asia Region, Founder member of SCAI (Shopping Center Association of India), and in Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) he is also National Co- Chairman of the National Council on EASE OF DOING BUSINESS and a member of the management committee. He was invited to speak at the 5th Edition of the UAE-INDIA Economic Forum held in Dubai, he was the youngest on the panel of speakers and the only person representing the real estate industry.
